Under The Texas Night Sky

Trees / Light Painting / Night Photography

About The Project

Away from the bright lights of town, my 48 acres has trees that stand for portraits against the night sky as backdrops.

During the day, these trees act as landmarks of a farm that has been in the family since the early 1920s, but at night they take on new personalities with character that makes them individual. I take light and shine on them as I wish to create images that are filled with new colors unlike the dull, washed-out appearance they take on during the day.
